News 11-10-2021 Moritz Hardt zum Direktor an das Max-Planck-Institut für Intelligente Systeme berufen Gesellschaftliche Perspektive auf Informatik rückt in den Mittelpunkt der Forschung Der Professor der University of California, Berkeley wurde von der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zum Direktor am Tübinger Standort des Max-Planck-Instituts für Intelligente Systeme ernannt. Er gründet dort die Abteilung „Social Foundations of Computation“, welche die tiefgreifende Expertise des Instituts in den Bereichen Maschinelles Lernen, Künstliche Intelligenz, Robotik und physische Systeme um soziale Fragestellungen innerhalb der Informatik erweitert.
