On Friday, September 18, 2026 interns will present the results of their research projects to the campus community, showcasing the research and scientific soft skills they have developed throughout the internship. Following the presentations, we invite you to join us for food and drinks.
The CaCTüS Scientific Symposium on September 18 marks the conclusion of this year’s CaCTüS internship program. The CaCTüS interns will present the results of their research projects to the campus community, showcasing both their technical achievements and the scientific soft skills they have developed.
The symposium will be followed by food and drinks at 17:00 at the MPI-IS Tübingen lounge and gardens—an opportunity for everyone involved to celebrate the successful completion of the programme and a great chance to meet the students and others who contributed to this year’s success.
CaCTüS is a joint venture between the MPIs for Biological Cybernetics and Intelligent Systems, together with the Tübingen AI Center. It is a summer internship program designed to support young scientists who are held back by personal, financial, regional, or societal constraints. The goal is to help them develop their research careers and gain access to first-class education and mentorship.
