REG visits Montréal
This summer Montréal will be the stage for three important conferences concerning research in the fields of psychology, cognitive science, machine learning, cognitive modelling and decision making: the 4th Multidisciplinary Conference on Reinforcement Learning and Decision Making (RLDM), the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Sociey for Mathematical Psychology and the 17th Annual Meeting of the International Conference on Cognitive Modelling (MathPsych/ICCM), and the 41st Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society (CogSci). As a matter of course, the Rationality Enhancement Group will be represented there as well.

Our lab started
As part of the Cyber Valley initiative, the Max Planck Research Group for Rationality Enhancement headed by Dr. Falk Lieder started today. The scientific mission of the group is to lay the cognitive and technological foundations for helping people become more effective. Our approach combines building and testing computational models of human learning and decision-making with developing intelligent systems for enhancing human rationality and evaluating them in field experiments. We are looking forward to five productive and successful years!
