The Perceiving Systems Department at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Tübingen is creating the world’s most realistic human avatars for use in research, film, virtual reality, and medicine. They are looking for a 3D-Clothing Designer to join their team.
The goal of the project is construct a unique database of clothing with:
The goal will be to have a dataset of sufficient size to be useful for training large models and of sufficient realism to be useful for many applications.
You will construct a large dataset of 3D garments for use in machine learning and computer vision.
The project requires specialist knowledge of the following:
You will be working on cutting-edge technologies related to computer vision and multi-sensor systems as a part of a young international team. Salaries will be based on previous work experience according to TVöD guidelines. This is a full-time position. The contract will be offered for two years.
