The exhibition in the Museum Ancient Cultures (Hohentübingen Castle) will focus on the most important steps of humankind. Our institute supports the last part of the exibition "Origin of digital innovation" with a Nao robot and the Mosh Camera App.
The theme of this dual language exibition "Ursprünge / Origins" alludes to the opening of the museum in Hohentübingen Castle 20 years ago - the "origin" of the Museum "Ancient Cultures". What could be more fitting than to reinterpret the outstanding university collections entirely? And so the visitor is taken on a trip back in time with gaining new perspectives on epochal thresholds, discoveries and research.
The exibition addresses the following "origin themes": primordial matter and life, walking upright, art, music and religion, war, hearth and home, writing, democracy, globalization, as well as industrializiation and digitalization.
Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 - 17:00 (on Thursdays till 19:00)
Free admission for the opening, May 19, 19:00 hrs and during exibition time May 21, June 1, Sept. 10
