Awards for Two Master Theses

Cédric de Crousaz has been awarded the ETH Medal for his excellent Master thesis from the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at ETH Zurich. Cédric conducted his Master thesis project on "Force Tracking Control of a Hydraulic Testbed" at MPI-IS in the Autonomous Motion Department under the supervision of Dr. Ludovic Righetti and Dr. Sebastian Trimpe. He was co-supervised by Prof. Jonas Buchli at ETH Zurich.

Julian Viereck has been awarded the ETH Medal for his excellent Master thesis from the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zurich. Julian conducted his Master thesis project on "Learning to Hop Using Guided Policy Search" at MPI-IS in the Autonomous Motion Department under the supervision of Dr. Ludovic Righetti and Alexander Herzog. He was co-supervised by Felix Berkenkamp and Prof. Andreas Krause at ETH Zurich.
