Erim Emel
Neuromechanics of Movement Student Assistant
Erim is a HiWi (Research Assistant) in the Neuromechanics of Movement Research Group. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Computational Mechanics of Materials and Structures (COMMAS) at the University of Stuttgart, after completing his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. His research at the Max Planck Institute focuses on developing simulation-based mechanical models of tails, particularly those of the kangaroo rat, to better understand their motion and tendon-driven actuation mechanisms.
