Hi, I am Siyuan, a PhD student supervised by Bernhard Schölkopf at the Max Planck Insitute for Intelligent Systems in Tübingen and Ferenc Huszar at University of Cambridge. I am also a PhD fellow under Cambridge-Tuebingen PhD Felloship,
My research interest broadly involves incorporating causality into machine learning methods. My past work focuses on establishing theoretical connection between causality with Bayesian statistics. In particular, I want to learn causal information from multi-environment data using Bayesian principled methods. Also, I am interested in general in migrating current machine learning methods beyond i.i.d assumptions.
