IMPRS-IS is a key element of the Cyber Valley Initiative, one of Europe's largest research collaborations in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The Max Planck Society, the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen and several partnering companies are involved in the initiative with funding from the state of Baden-Württemberg. Cyber Valley enables the exchange between basic research and more applied research in the partner companies. With the IMPRS-IS doctoral students, we are expanding our pool of talents who contribute to world-class research in the South West German region.
